“When we’re growing up there are all sorts of people telling us what to do when really what we need is space to work out who to be.” - Elliot Page
I am an eclectic, self-taught artist whose work is deeply inspired by the beauty and complexity of both wild nature and human nature. The wonders of history, along with the boundless realms of imagination — where mermaids, wizards, fairies, and other mythical beings dwell — often find their way into my creations.
My artistic journey began at the tender age of six in beautiful Quebec, Canada, when I won my first school art contests and shows. Over the years, I have been honored with awards in exhibitions across both Canada and the United States. For more than fifty years, art has been my constant — a way to express the natural beauty I see around me, the depth of human emotion, and the marvel of our shared history and imagination.
I work with mixed media, blending techniques I have acquired and continually refined through decades of practice, always seeking new avenues to grow. My current portfolio ranges in size from intimate 14×14 pieces to expansive 36×48 works. Every painting is accompanied by an original poem, carefully crafted to echo its emotion and story. These poems are printed on 8×5.5-inch cards, inseparable from the artwork, and are delivered alongside each piece when it is displayed or sold.
Beyond my studio, my life has been shaped by profound experiences. I spent years in Haiti caring for children of all ages, including newborns left abandoned on my doorstep. Through love, faith, and perseverance, I helped many find healing and hope — one of those children became my daughter, and twenty-four others were embraced by loving families.
Today, I continue to walk this philanthropic path. Five percent of every artwork sale is donated to help improve the life of an impoverished child somewhere in this world we all share. Each piece I create is more than just an image — it’s a story, a feeling, and a contribution toward something greater.
Thank you for joining me on this journey, for supporting my art, and for becoming a part of my never-ceasing effort to bring beauty, hope, and compassion into the world.
