My heart longs for the day,

When I’ll be free to sail away

To the land beyond the sea

Where, together, my King and I will be.

No more sorrows, no more tears,

No more strife and no more fears.

This long journey cloaked in sadness

At last replaced with joy and gladness

One day soon, though come what may,

Eternal freedom on that glorious day!”
